Fired for Excessive Force, Bexar County Deputy Working for SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream Assaults Boy and His Grandfather

WigRum Partners Joe Dunn and Ross Evans Represent Family Who Sues For Damages
After a history documented within the records of his former employer of charges of tampering with evidence and official oppression involving an incident with an inmate at the Bexar County Jail in 2019, as well as shooting a woman four times while off-duty after pulling over to help her with a stalled vehicle in 2018, SeaWorld nevertheless hired Brandon Doege to don a bloody pig-face costume and work with the general public at its 2022 Howl-O-Scream event.
Unsurprisingly, Mr. Doege soon faced new criminal charges of felony injury to a child with the intent to cause bodily injury after he assaulted a 14-year-old boy at the event, including body slamming the teen to the ground and then hitting the boy’s grandfather in the face as the man came to assist his grandson.
Wigington Rumley Dunn & Blair represents the family in their lawsuit seeking damages resulting from these physical assaults by the SeaWorld employee and their resulting bodily injuries.
