Background
Ross Evans joined Wigington Rumley Dunn & Blair LLP in 2015, after practicing insurance defense with Brock Person Guerra Reyna, P.C. in San Antonio, Texas. While at Brock Person, Ross handled personal injury cases involving energy companies, oilfield service companies, transportation companies, governmental entities, and private individuals. Ross also represented private businesses involved in litigation, ranging from construction defects to large-scale property loss.
Prior to his work with Brock Person, Ross practiced in North Carolina with Coffey Bomar, LLP, where he concentrated on medical malpractice defense and commercial litigation.
Ross earned his education at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, double majoring in Business Administration and Spanish, before graduating with his law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. While at St. Mary’s, Ross served as president of the St. Thomas More Society, promoting forums of discussion among attending law students and inspiring intellectual, spiritual and moral qualities to future attorneys.
Since joining the Wigington Rumley Dunn & Blair LLP team, Mr. Evans has helped Wigington Rumley Dunn & Blair LLP bring two multi-million dollar cases to resolution. He secured a settlement of $1.5 million on an oilfield injury case in May 2015; the very next month, he obtained a $2 million judgment for his clients against an intoxicated driver.
