Oil Field Accident: More Tragedy in Eagle Ford Shale

LaSalle County, Texas: On February 4, 2012, our client was traveling to work when he was hit by an oil field worker who crossed the center line and struck our client "head on" in a company vehicle.

Discovery in this case reveled that the oil field worker had worked for two days with only seven hours of rest and that his employer violated their safety policy by allowing him to work. The evidence also revealed that the employer had failed to properly train the oil field worker. As a result of the accident, our client was paralyzed from the waist down. This case settled for a confidential sum.
